Ruth Farnham paints what she sees, not what's there. Making art, for her, is an adventure involving constant exploration of everything that touches her life. Ruth began to exhibit professionally while still a student at the University of Michigan and graduated from its College of Architecture and Design with a painting major. Since then, she has continued to work with galleries and museums and was co-founder of galleries in Ojai and Santa Fe.
Extensive travels in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, India and China have been an ongoing source of inspiration and development.
